SHORT BIO
Gloria Denise Zurru is a professional harpist, concert performer, professor of lever and classic harp, music and vocal technique education. Graduated with full marks at the First and Second Cycle in High Education - 7th EQF LEVEL Master Degree (Harp). International competition and scholarship winner. From 2018 to 2020 she worked as a music vocal teacher for the School Activities Office at the Opera House Teatro Regio in Torino. She has collaborated since 2019 with the record label Edizioni Monocroma founded by Maestro Francisco Orsini. She works for the Music Association Europa InCanto.

Education & Training
She began her musical education at the age of four at the Civic Music School of Moncalieri (Turin). One year later, she started celtic harp lessons with Marina Bonetti (Milan). She continued her studies at Il Classico Music School with Chiara Granata (harp) and Maestro Carlo De Martini (chamber music) where she also attended music theory, singing and theatre lessons. On March 2015, she graduated with full marks at the First level Academic Degree at the Paganini Conservatory of Genoa where she continued her studies first with Maria Elena Bovio and later with Elena Manuela Cosentino. On March 2019, she graduated with full marks at the Second Level Academic Degree (Harp - Master of Music) at the Conservatory of Parma under the guidance of Emanuela Degli Esposti. She also acquired 24 credits in anthropo-psycho-pedagogical field and didactic methodologies and technologies, necessary for Music Teachers according to the law 107/2015...

She performed at the Teatro Carlo Felice (Opera House) and the Royal Palace of Genoa (Italy), the Glazunov Concert Hall in St.Petersburg (Russia), the Auditorium de la Maison dans la Vallèe in Fontainebleau (France), the Rhein-Main-Theater in Niedernhausen (Germany), the Schwabenlandhalle in Fellbach (Germany) and in many other events as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician in Milan, Villa Arconati (Mi), Villa Medici Giulini (Mi), Como, Cagliari, Pula, Turin, Carmagnola, Lake Orta, at the Royal Palace (Genoa) and Barbi’s Headquarter in Genoa, Florence, Parma, Bologna, Alessandria, Sanremo, Lucern, Lavagna (La Spezia), Grasse (Nice)…
Professor
Since 2013 she gives face-to-face and online lessons. On May 2016 she presented some of her harp students during the music festival Arpissima (La Spezia) organized by Salvi Harps. From 2018 to 2020 she worked as a music teacher at the School Activities Office at Teatro Regio of Turin where she led vocal/ instrumental/ theatrical music workshops within the Opera House or schools (kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school). She also gave vocal lessons for the white voices choirs that performed during the musical events designed for young students. In 2020 she worked with the capacity building project Regio Digital Board. Since June 2020 has been teaching music, vocal and choral technique at the Relevè dance school of Torino. During summer 2020 she attended two educational courses offered by the publishing house Euroedizioni (Torino srl) aimed for training teachers for national public competitions (educational legislation, psychology and pedagogy) under the guidance of Dr. Vittorio Venuti, Maria Chiara Grigiante, Rocco Callà and Loredana De Simone.
